Food for the Hungry (FHI) is a growing, international organization that answers God's call to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the poor. Founded in 1971, FHI is incorporated in Geneva, Switzerland and has its international service center in Bangkok, Thailand. Countries and Activities
FHI has ongoing activities in over 50 nations of Africa, the Americas, Asia, and Europe. These initiatives include community and child development, advocacy and information, relief and rehabilitation, and sending people to serve.

Funding for FHI programmes is drawn from around the world through Food for the Hungry National Support Organizations in Canada, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea America, Korea, Malaysia, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
