The
FHI staff center is in the community of Playa Ancha. The communities
of Playa Ancha sit fairly close together. A bus travels each half
hour through the commuities between Capinota and Cochabamba. During
the rainy season, muddy roads can make travel by any kind of vehicle
very difficult. The FHI workers travel between communities on motorcycles.
Poquera is the farthest community with an approximately thirty minutes
drive from the staff housing in Playa Ancha.
