me, the question continues to be one
of stewardship...am I being the best
steward I can possibly be of the
resources and experiences God has
given me and is giving me? I
hope and pray I never become
comfortable with the answer to that
question - that I continue to
struggle to find the best answer in
all circumstances (whether buying a
car, choosing where to live, or what
I'm going to eat for my next meal),
remembering our brothers and sisters
in Nicaragua (and around the world)
who in some ways have much, much
less, and yet in many ways may know
more true joy than I can given the
"stuff" I have that so easily clouds
my vision of God's true, everlasting
gifts ( i.e., salvation, grace,
love, beauty revealed in creation,
and all those fruits of the
Spirit!)."
