Each year FHI Peru has the joy of welcoming short-term mission teams from churches around the world to join with us in our ministry. These teams serve within our ongoing ministry to meet spiritual and physical hungers among the poor.

A team's ministry is two-pronged. Teams share the love of Christ through working along side local community members to meet a physical need within the community. The relationships that are formed provide natural opportunities to formally and informally share the message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It is our desire that visiting mission teams always be working alongside our staff and through the local church. This provides the example of Christian unity (John 17:21,23) and allows those who have come to know the Lord a means of fellowship and follow-up long after the team has returned home.
