Medical & Dental Check-ups
Food for the Hungry/Philippines conducts annual medical and dental check-ups for children and their family members at least once a year. If necessary, free medicine and further consultation/treatments are provided. Doctors, Dentist & other health workers were tapped from Christian churches & other organizations.
Though the help of trained Community Health Workers, parents health classes are conducted in community to train parents on primary health, maternal and child health and other health concerns.
Food for the Hungry seeks to prevent sickness in communities and to achieve better health for all.
