Child Development Program Day 2002 (Everybody's Birthday)
It was an exciting and fun filled celebration of the Child Development Program Day. Annually, all FHI CDP sponsored children in different Community Centers gathered together for the celebration. The Canadian Team made this year’s celebration colorful and happy. They entertained children in clown and Captain Canada costume.
Children rendered different kinds of presentations in songs, dance and playing drum and other musical instruments. It was good to see children dressed neatly and performing with their costumes. None would ever think that said children where from the poorest of the poor communities in the Philippines.
CDP day is providing a venue for children to develop their
God given gifts and encouraging them to be responsible children by honoring God,
their parents and their sponsors.
Birthday song was sung by all followed by the gift
distribution to all children. Canadian Team helped distributed the birthday
gifts to all children.
