Day 2003 (Everybody's Birthday)
The annual CDP Day celebration and commemoration of Everybody’s birthday was held in all FHI CDP Centers. The activity has resulted for CDP children to develop appreciation of their lives and that God value them, be thankful for people who love them such as their sponsors, parents and teachers and experienced a birthday party.
In their respective CDP Center, the children where gathered together with singing, dancing, presentation, blowing of cakes and food. Food for the Hungry provides birthday gifts to the children to their delight.
After the CDP Day celebration, children received their school materials such as bags, notebooks, pen and paper.
The annual celebration is always an exciting day for all our children. The joy experienced by them is what matters most. As the Bible say;
“whatever you do unto the least of these my brethren you did it to me.”
