Lori will never forget the precious times she spent with her dear friend Sinferosa. One day Sinferosa asked Lori if she would help her with a weaving she wanted to make. Lori had fun throwing the yarn back and forth to Sinferosa in order to prepare the wool for making a bed covering. Before she left Bolivia, Lori asked Sinferosa if she could buy the weaving she helped her with so she would always remember that day.
Yeehaw!! It's harvest time!! These haba beans were on the top terrace outside our front door. We harvested them and had a huge pile in our living room to give away to visitors.
You probably remember hearing about the accident in the river and how we lost the jeep. That's why we haven't had this webpage updated in the past months because our computer was ruined in the accident along with the program for the webpage. Anyway, this is what the jeep looked like the day we pulled it out of the river. It was a sad sight!
Our friends Esteba and Reina with their three kids are strong Christians and leaders in the community. This was a special day as we celebrated the birthday of Wilbur, their youngest son, who was also our godson.
We enjoyed one last visit from Lori's parents, David and B.J. Fox this past March. We travelled down to southern Bolivia near the Argentina border to a city called Tarija.
